Satellite Med respectfully informs you that April Looper is closing her practice at Satellite Med effective Friday, December 6th, 2024.

April would like to share the following message to all of her patients “I have prayerfully considered this decision and am walking in faith to move as I feel God is calling me. I regret leaving my patients who I have advocated for and walked alongside with their health concerns for the past eight years. It has been a tremendous privilege for patients to trust me with their care and to take care of entire families.”  April’s next chapter won’t allow her to continue her family practice, and she encourages her patients to continue to trust Satellite Med for their healthcare needs.

Satellite Med has several providers that are available to tend to your medical needs. They are under the direct supervision of Dr. James Cates, Board Certified in Family Practice.  Our providers will be available to take appointments for medication refills, managing high blood pressure, diabetes, referrals, depression, annual physicals, women’s health, pap smears; etc.

If you would like to make an appointment with any of our Family Practice providers, you can call or text the clinic at 931-528-7312. We want to continue to offer you medical services here at Satellite Med, but please know that if you decide to seek a different provider you can stop by to request a copy of your medical records.
